Westminster Christian (Miami) defeated Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) in a five-set match to claim the 2016 Class 5A Girls Volleyball State Championship during the event in Ocala.

In their first state title game appearance since 2004, Fort Myers defeated Niceville 7-1 to claim the 2017 Class 7A crown and the school's first ever softball state championship.

Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) upended Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) 24-13 to earn the 2016 Class 3A Football State Championship at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Oviedo claimed the school's second girls bowling state championship at the 2016 event from Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando.

En route to the 2016 Class 7A State Championship, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort. Lauderdale) cruised in a 45-6 victory over Plant (Tampa) at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Plant (Tampa) defeats the defending champion Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee) 19-6 in the 2A final to claim its first Flag Football State Championship.

St. John Lutheran (Ocala) was back for revenge. After a runner-up finish in 2015, they upended Geneva (Winter Park) to lock down the 2016 Girls 2A Volleyball State Championship during the event at West Port High School.

West Orange (Winter Garden) goes back to back after shutting out Palm Harbor University 1-0 to claim the Class 9A Softball State Championship at the 2017 event in Vero Beach.

Archbishop McCarthy (Southwest Ranches) goes back to back as they captured the 2016 Class 2A Girls Golf State Championships from Mission Inn & Resort. Kendall Griffin (Sebring) claimed individual medalist honors.
