Winter Park pulled away from defending champion Gulf Coast (Naples) late to claim its first ever team title at the 2018 Class 3A Boys Golf State Championships from the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howie-in-the-Hills.

Merritt Island defeated Santa Fe (Alachua) in straight sets to win the 2018 Class 6A Girls Volleyball State Championship. The event took place at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.

Alonso (Tampa) made it two consecutive titles after successfully defending their Class 2A championship, defeating Park Vista (Lake Worth) 19-9 during the Flag Football State Championships.

Madison County out-dueled the defending champion Wildwood 62-60 in OT to claim the 2019 Class 1A Boys Basketball State Championship, the school's first ever boys basketball title.

Coral Springs Charter made it five state championships in a row with a 7-2 victory over Marianna in the 2019 Softball Class 5A State Chamoionshio Game in Vero Beach.

Bolles (Jacksonville) upended Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale) 5-1 to go back to back and claim the 2019 Class 2A Soccer State Championship at the event held in DeLand.

Competition from the 2019 Florida High School Class 4A Tennis State Championships in Altamonte Springs. Miami Palmetto claimed the boys team championship, and Dr. Krop (Miami) finished as the top overall girls team.

West Nassau (Callahan) claimed the 1A Medium Non-Tumbling title during the 2019 Competitive Cheerleading State Championships held at Exactech Arena in Gainesville.

In the school's first title game appearance since 1965, Plant City defeated local rival Strawberry Crest (Dover) 3-1 to capture the Class 8A crown and it's first ever baseball title at the 2019 state championships in Fort Myers.
