Oviedo claimed its first ever boys cross country team crown at the 2017 Class 4A Boys Cross Country State Championship. Banjamin Hartvigsen of Sarastoa claimed the top individual honor.

City of Life (Kissimmee) outpaced Calvary Christian (Ormond Beach) 51-34 to claim the 2018 Class 2A Girls Basketball State Championship at the event held in Lakeland, the school's first ever girls basketball title.

In an 11 inning thriller, Academy at the Lakes (Land O'Lakes) outlasted Aucilla Christian (Monticello) 1-0 to claim the 2018 Class 2A Softball State Championship.

In a rematch of the 2016 championship match, St. John Lutheran (Ocala) out-dueled Geneva (Winter Park) once again to claim its second consecutive Girls 2A Volleyball State Championship during the 2017 held event in Jacksonville.

Bringing home their first-ever girls volleyball title, Christ's Church Academy (Jacksonville) defeated First Baptist (Naples) in the 2017 Class 3A Girls Volleyball State Championships held at UNF Arena in Jacksonville.

Olympia (Orlando) out-lasted South Broward (Hollywood) 18-15 to claim the 2018 Boys Water Polo State Championship, the school's first title.

Port St. Joe claimed their second school baseball title with a 4-0 win over Madison County in the 2018 Class 1A Florida High School Baseball State Championships .

Fleming Island (Orange Park) competes during the 2018 Competitive Cheerleading State Championships held at Exactech Arena in Gainesville.

South Lake (Groveland) competes during the 2018 Competitive Cheer State Championships held at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville.
